I had do to a choice, like all of you. That's why I' m for the first (and last time) will post two photos from my archive - both scanded from old slides (1998). Why? 'cause smell is such a contrast. That's my whole idea by revealing 2 photos. (Sorry - it's 3 pictures - hehehe - Saturday joke?)
I start with the positive:
This is Anna in The City of year around Spring - If you do not know which city on this Planet this is Click here. Recommended
Then I'll go to the contrary - smell that stinks - that was in 1998 - much have changed. Where on this Planet is this? A clue here. You'll discover a new world if you dare to click
But where could this photo have been taken? In 1998. U see it's Anna and Ingelin. In what country and where in that country do they prepare smelly dishes like this?
Hugs to all of you

On May 17, the Norwegian national day, streets, roads and plazaz and Parks are filled with brassbands. It's music everywhere from early morning to late evening. Above is The Royal Garden Brass Band in front of the Royal Castle in Oslo.
Brass bands of all ages. That's a very nice tradition.
Even the Aspirants are marching. When the Saint goes Marching on ......

Midsummer - St Hans - Eve have a special tradition here in Norway. People have large outdoor fires (have been restricted the last years) and they seek out to the Sea with their boats. Islands are more or less crowded. Not this year. Heavy rain stopped the tradition. Oslo had 77 mm in 24 hours. That's more than normal for the whole month. Much more.
But we had to prepare the meal. Outside barbecue was to be forgotten. Too wet.
We started eating inside. You see - it's not much space.
But, suddenly. Blue sky.
And we moved outside
And, we could follow the tradition with a Midsummer fire. Not the largest one. But a fire. It was so wet it took almost an hour to lit it up. Meanwhile we had Wine and Wild Strawberries. The evening ended up with 40 Questions plus Ten easy ones. Bedtime: 3:30 AM.
